Collages - Individual pieces
Blue Time
Many of my works reflect a mood or just a thought I have. This little mixed media piece represents on the one hand a static time during the pandemic lockdown period, and on the other, an acknowledgement of the increasingly rapid passage of time as you get older.

Orange & Blue Panel
Layering and combining intense colours is satisfying and this particular combination really sings.
When I was making it, I experimented with different oranges - gouache, inks, watercolours, eventually settling on a harmonious combination.
I used the blue ink soaked piece in a top layer breaking across the panel.

Looking down on the East Lancs Railway , Bolton Street Station, Bury
I'm very fond of this view of the station. It's from the little road just above. The station is run by volunteers and runs a steam programme during the summer holidays. In recent years it has been 'dressed up' ...wearing the face of Thomas the Tank engine on the front.

When I Close my Eyes
Closing your eyes sometimes let you see strange intermittent patches of colour and patterns making their way across the cornea. I have tried to portray this wierd and fascinating phenomena.
Paint layers on card, stitching into the corrugated layers.
